Our traditional focus is to partner with manufacturers and distributors providing competitive pricing and second to none value added customer service serving as a liason between the shipper/consignee and their carriers.

In 2008, we added a new, non-traditional focus partnering with state, county, city, school and university procurement groups providing them a new option to save significant dollars on the freight portion of the items they are shipping and dramatically improve their receiving processes.

In all cases, TLM's overall focus is to partner with the carriers that we select to provide quality service to our customers.

Manufacturers, Distributors and Retailers

At TLM we serve as an extension of the traffic departments of small to medium manufacturing, distributing and retail companies across the country.  As a Third Party Logistics company (3PL), we provide a customized and comprehensive transportation management program for our customers by establishing a true business partnership which allows us to gain a genuine and thorough understanding of their transportation needs. We manage the process from the minute the purchase order is cut to the point where the freight has reached the end user.

Purchasing and Procurement Groups

After identifying that one of our strongest service offering was that of managing the movement of our customer's inbound purchases, we expanded our focus to the area of working with procurement and purchasing departments of towns, city, county and state governments, utility departments, correctional facilities and school districts, colleges and universities. With the involvement and input of procurement groups across the country, TLM has developed a comprehensive program specifically designed to provide these groups significant savings associated with their freight cost on commodities that they already purchase. As this service continues to evolve, we have kept our focus on letting the customer define the need while we provide the solution. This market area is a primary focus now and in the future.
